Dear Reader,
Two kinds of people come to me with sleep issues.
The first cannot settle. The mind is racing, their body is exhausted. They're wired and tired, lying there unable to stop.
The second falls asleep fine. But wakes at two or three in the morning and cannot get back to sleep.
Both are running on empty. Both spend the day riding peaks and valleys of energy. Both reach for coffee in the morning and crash after lunch.
Sleep is when the body repairs itself. When the nervous system resets. When dreams, whether remembered or not, do their quiet work. When sleep breaks down, everything downstream breaks down with it.
